Dear Homeowners,
It has been brought to my attention that over the weekend that there was a very serious accident in the neighborhood. A child was hit by a motorist while running out into the street. It is the opinion of many on hand that this accident may have been prevented or lessened to a degree if the child was not shielded by a vehicle parked on the street. We know that children are going to make mistakes in life like running out in the street before looking, so it is important that the neighborhood do its part by helping prevent these dangerous situations. On street parking doesn’t seem like a major offense in the eyes of many until cases like this one surface. There are many other similar scenarios that have played out in other communities’ world wide. For example, its been documented that lives have been lost due to emergency vehicles being obstructed by on street parking causing major delays in route to fire or injury. On street parking is against the rules and regulations of the Wentworth Hall community and can be punishable by fines. Please help keep you neighborhood safe by not parking on the street. You May SAVE A LIFE!
Spring is coming!!!
I also wanted to take this opportunity to remind everyone that it is that time of year that we freshen up the exterior look of the community. Break out the pressure washer, lay down some new pine straw, and pull some weeds. Lets make Wentworth Hall the most beautiful neighborhood in the area.
Thank you,
Aaron Hettesheimer, CMCA
